Halls Lake is one of the area's finest lakes with its crystal clear water and abundant fish life which includes large and small mouth Bass and a hybrid Lake Trout used by the Ministry of Natural Resources to stock all other lakes in the area. The cottage is situated on a secluded lot, on Halls Lake Island with easy drive on causeway access. You will find this cottage a great spot for swimming, diving, fishing or just listening for the call of the loon. North from 401 on Hwy 35/115 and continuing on Hwy 35 past Minden and Carnarvon to Halls Lake. From the west end of Toronto – North on Hwy 400/11 to 118 and east to Carnarvon. Then north on Hwy 35 to Halls Lake. We are 1 hour east of Bracebridge, 1 hour south of Huntsville, 15 minutes south of Dorset, 15 minutes north of Minden, and 45 minutes east of Haliburton – a truly central location!
